Gautham, a restaurant owner who dislikes romance, helps his friend Kannan convey his love for Maha and break off an arranged marriage with their relative Sandhya. Gautham slowly develops feelings for Sandhya, mistakenly thinking the mysterious phone calls and gifts he gets are from her. Sandhya later reveals she already loves someone else, leaving Gautham heartbroken and confused about his anonymous admirer. On Kannan and Maha’s wedding day, Gautham finally meets his real secret lover, a college mate who had silently loved and followed him for years. Realising her enduring love, Gautham accepts her, and they leave together happily.
